More rounds of precipitation are in store for the Pacific Northwest. Lake effect snow begins to wrap up this evening across the Great Lakes. Above average temperatures will begin to expand east.

Multiple rounds of shortwaves beneath an upper level low are stationed over southeastern Alaska. This will direct moisture into the Pacific Northwest over the next few days, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. The low pressure system will bring heavy rainfall to the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies today.
