Marquette’s seasonal snowfall now stands at around 265 inches, almost 100 inches above normal.
The Sunday to Monday snowstorm produced drifts that reached up to the rooftops of homes, up to 6 to 10 feet in some spots. Wind gusts up to 60 mph in Michigan made measuring snow during the storm difficult. Some of the highest totals included 52 inches south of Wetmore, 49 inches northeast of Shingleton, and 43 inches southwest of Munising.
