MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The AI Advisory Board on Community Benefits, tasked with developing a list of critical projects in neighborhoods around Memphis data centers, met for the final time Thursday.
It has been one year since Mayor Paul Young promised that 25% of xAI property tax revenue will be used to improve life for Memphians who live near the data centers in South Memphis and Whitehaven. The total amount is $3.3 million.
