Natural disasters whether earthquakes, tsunamis or the plethora of extreme weather impacts, tend to badly shake us up and make is think very deeply as and when they occur, at least for a short time. Thoughts like, ‘what if we could have done things differently and more effectively in order to reduce fatalities, injuries, strife and misinformation?’ And that’s exactly what the government of Thailand is now engaged in following the recent Myanmar earthquake that shook far away Bangkok to its knees.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed and to be forearmed is to give yourself a fighting chance!
