(Olivia MN-) Lower MN River Valley Watch says a Bird Island man is charged with assaulting a teacher in the classroom. Hunter Kopel, 18 of Bird Island, is charged via summons with Assault in the Fourth Degree on a School Official, which is a gross misdemeanor, and Assault in the Fifth Degree, a misdemeanor.
According to the complaint, an officer responded to BOLD School in Olivia on November 3rd regarding a report of an assault that had occurred earlier that morning.
