• • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

• • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Instructions:

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; cook for 2 minutes.

Add the tomato puree, turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.

Stir in the chickpeas and a cup of water. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add garam masala and mix well. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
