Record high temperatures were broken in at least a dozen states over last weekend alone. Even Alaska and Hawaii go in on the record-warm action. The records set on Saturday included 87 at Molokai Kaunakakai Molokai Airport in Hawaii, 85 at Houston Intercontinental Airport in Texas, and 75 at Winslow Airport in Arizona. Salmon Trout, Alaska, shattered their record high by five degrees on Sunday when the temperature topped out at 33.
