Rony Gonzales Miranda, 40, of Opelika, was already facing a driving under the influence charge in connection to the crash, which claimed the life of Angela L. Wilson, 45, of Columbus, Georgia.

The victim’s family is seeking justice for her death. Her husband, Adrien Wilson, was driving at the time of the early morning Feb. 11 crash and says Miranda was driving on the wrong side of the interstate when he slammed head-on into their vehicle.
