DAT (Denmark) (DX, Kolding) is considering a full or partial sale of the only executive jet it operates, a Citation Excel, due to low utilisation. CEO Jesper Rungholm told ch-aviation the carrier remains open to providing partial or full crew or management services for the aircraft under new ownership.
The 23.6-year-old jet, OY-JRU (msn 560-5236), is configured for up to nine passengers and has been placed on DAT’s air operator’s certificate (AOC) since early 2022. Despite being available for charter, it has logged just 14 flights in 2025, including two test flights around Billund, where it is based.
