Fresh research has suggested that people who went on to develop long COVID already had key differences in their health stats before they even got infected.

That’s according to scientists from Complexity Science Hub in Vienna, who’s new study is based on data – think steps and resting heart rates – collected from people’s fitness trackers and smartwatches.
