Earlier this year, a bill that would have eased the way toward repeal passed the Idaho House 38 to 32. Had Senate Health and Welfare Committee Chairperson Julie VanOrden, R-Pingree, not intervened, the measure might have cleared the Senate. Next year, it may go all the way to Gov. Brad Little’s desk.
