According to a report from Oilprice.com, Europe’s airport industry group has warned that the region could experience a systemic jet fuel shortage within three weeks. The group, ACI Europe, indicated that this would occur if significant and stable flows through the Strait of Hormuz do not resume.
The organization cautioned that a continued disruption would leave airports and airlines with insufficient supply at the beginning of the peak summer travel period.
