Esports and lifestyle organization FaZe Clan announced plans to extend its weekly creator-focused tournament series, FaZe Fridays, through 2024. To up the ante, FaZe Clan plans to award over $1 million in prizes through out the year.

The tournament series plans to build on the success of the first four FaZe Fridays, which ran from December 2023 to January 2024. Viewership for these tournaments surpassed 1.37 million hours watched.

“We started this new weekly tournament to just have fun and it’s really taken off,” said FaZe Swagg. “We look forward to putting together teams each week, competing in different titles with different groups and we’re honestly just having a blast. Love that the fans love it as much as we do!”

Going forward, FaZe Fridays plans to expand beyond Call of Duty Warzone and feature other trending titles such as Fortnite. The format will change weekly, but FaZe teased in-person tournaments sometime in 2024.
