A wintry mix will impact the Ozarks and Ohio Valley today before moving into the Great Lakes. The first winter storm of the season for New England begins tonight. Chilly temperatures persist.
Messy Wintry Mix
Lingering snow showers continue this morning across parts of the Great Lakes and the interior Northeast as an upper wave and surface frontal system that was responsible for this past weekend’s storm moves through. The next impactful storm begins to form as an upper-wave over the Rockies emerges over the Plains. A broad area of precipitation will move east from the Plains and Mississippi Valley this morning into the Midwest and Southeast this afternoon and evening.
