Thanks to the partnership between Marvel Comics and Toho International, the King of the Monsters made his roaring return to the Marvel Universe earlier this year.

Following a series of history-spanning one-shots where Godzilla battled various Marvel heroes, the epic showdown we’ve all been waiting for arrives this July in the pages of Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe.

The five-issue event series will be written by Gerry Duggan, with art from Javier Garrón. As the fate of the world hangs in the balance, it’s all hands on deck as Godzilla is pitted against the combined might of the entire Marvel Universe.
