Jet fuel prices have jumped 70% since the Iran war began. Here’s how it’s affected airlines, air fares and Florida tourism so far.

The Iran war that’s causing gasoline prices to surge is also sending jet fuel prices soaring, but so far it hasn’t hurt airline passenger traffic in Florida, tourism and airport officials say.
“While fuel prices are always something we monitor closely, we have not seen any indication that demand for travel to our state has slowed,” said Allison Hopkins, corporate communications manager for Visit Florida, the state’s official tourism marketing arm.
