Communicating with NASA’s myriad of satellites , probes, and spacecraft around the universe is far from simple .
That’s why the U.S. space agency developed the Deep Space Network (DSN) over 60 years ago . As the agency itself says on its website:

When it comes to making a long-distance call, it’s hard to beat NASA’s Deep Space Network.

It is in fact the largest and most sensitive scientific telecommunications system in the world . It is an international network of enormous NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) antennas that supports mostly interplanetary space missions , as well as some that orbit the Earth.
