The overall No. 1 seed and defending national champions in the women’s NCAA Tournament just sent a message to the rest of the the Sweet 16. It’s UConn vs. everybody else for the national championship.
The Huskies blitzed No. 9 Syracuse 98-45 on Monday evening, jumping out to a casual 65-12 lead at halftime, and continuing there perfect season.
UConn advances to the Sweet 16, something the team has done every year since 1993, and will take on No. 4 UNC on Friday, March 27 in Fort Worth.
