Ryan Garcia makes his return to the ring tonight, taking on WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
Once boxing’s fastest rising star, Garcia (23-1) has been on his back foot over the last couple of years. In April of 2024, the California boxer tested positive for the banned substance ostarine, resulting in a no contest for his decision win over Devin and a year-long suspension. Garcia returned to fight Rolando Romero in May for the vacant WBA belt, but lost by unanimous decision.
