InZOI – one of the many games arguably aiming to wrestle away The Sims‘ life-sim crown – has had a pretty good first week following its early access release last week. It’s already shifted a million copies, and its devs are well on their way to rectifying its biggest teething issues.

For example, they’ve just put out a hotfix that’s (checks patch notes) “fixed an issue where the toilet sound effect was too long and felt unnatural”. Ok then. Damn, now I’m sad I never got to hear this unnaturally lengthy lavatory loudness in all of its glory.

Anyway, to start with the good news, Kraton has confirmed that the game has surpassed one million cumulative sales as of today, April 4. That’s nice…more
