A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria spotted an overturned jet ski near Seaside while performing a training exercise around 3 p.m., Coast Guard spokesperson Briana Carter told The Oregonian/OregonLive.
The crew scoured the area from the air while a rescue boat from Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment searched the waters around the jet ski, but they didn’t find the rider, Carter said.
