BATH TWP. — The crew of a small jet plane that crashed on Thursday, Oct. 16, in a wooded area northeast of Lansing was on a test flight following scheduled maintenance performed in Battle Creek, the aircraft maintenance company said.
The company, Duncan Aviation, said the Beechcraft Hawker 800XP was on a “stall flight” when the crash happened.
The only people on board were “two customer pilots and their maintenance representative,” none of whom survived, the company said in an emailed statement.
