Joy Behar is opening up about the injury that pulled her away from “The View” cohosting duties.
Returning to the show after a multi-day hiatus on Friday, Nov. 14, Behar, 83, recounted the “painful” injury that sidelined her, showing off a bandaged foot.
“Now, I’ve been off for a few days, as you might have noticed,” Behar said, sitting alongside her cohosts. “Well, here’s what happened. So I dropped my iPad on my foot, and I broke my toe.”
She continued: “What they do is they put the toes together because it’s broken. And it’s very, very, very painful. I cannot recommend you dropping anything on your toe.”
“Wasn’t Sunny [Hostin] trying to talk you into a bigger iPad just a few weeks ago?” cohost Ana Navarro chimed in, to which Behar responded: “Yes, she was. Very sadistic of you.”
