Kymeta has been awarded a three-year contract by the U.S. Office of Naval Research to further develop its multi-band, multi-beam antenna technology. The agreement supports advancement of the company’s KuKa system, which enables multi-band connectivity with four concurrent full-duplex beams in Ku- and Ka-band frequencies using a single antenna aperture.
The technology was first demonstrated in April 2025 and has since been presented to multiple U.S. Department of Defense organizations. The Office of Naval Research is supporting its development as part of efforts to enhance connectivity and information exchange for distributed naval and joint operations.
