Leaked Xbox App UI Shows Steam Label, Indicating a Future Connection Between the Platforms | Gaming

In a blog post for the Game Developers Conference 2025, Microsoft laid out ways that it would attempt to open doors “for a billion players.” However, in that post, Microsoft mistakenly included an image that showed the UI for the Xbox App with a label designated for Steam games.

The described image shows a generally unassuming group of devices, all showing off the Xbox App. The point was to demonstrate the seamless back and forth that players can engage in using their platform, but some eagle-eyed viewers noted a label for sorting through the game library.
