NASA is preparing for a major milestone in human spaceflight with the upcoming Artemis II mission. The launch marks the first crewed journey toward the Moon in more than five decades.

A Historic Return to Deep Space

For the first time in more than 50 years, humans are preparing to travel toward the Moon once again. Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed lunar mission since the Apollo era, signaling a new chapter in space exploration.

The mission is targeting liftoff no earlier than April 1, with a launch window opening at 6:24 p.m. EDT from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
