A team of scientists, called the McCall MacBain Clean Air Fellowship , sponsored by the University of Birmingham, developed a set of sensors that made it possible to understand that indoor air pollution levels , mainly in the UK, are extremely high compared to outdoor air.

According to experts, the techniques and technologies used will be affordable for any family.

Residents will therefore be exposed to extremely high levels of air pollutants, even when outdoor air quality is considered good. If homes have been considered safe until now, this study could revolutionize our perception of safety and air quality .
