A new study shows travelers who are choosing sunshine over snow this winter, with beach getaways surpassing ski trips, has crowned Florida as the best warm winter destination, for its year-round astonishing weather. According to the study which is conducted by InsureMyTrip.com, a travel insurance comparison site, this winter “beach chairs are beating out ski lifts for holiday vacations.”
While many Americans are still drawn to traditional family gatherings, more are taking advantage of the season to chase warm weather, explore national parks, or unwind by the ocean, the company wrote in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. It’s all about making memories minus the frostbite.
