After shutting down in May 2023, Jet It filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy late last month.
It was the second Chapter 7 filing in 2025 of a private jet operator that ranked among the 15 largest as measured by charter and fractional flight hours.
In October, Verijet filed for liquidation under the bankruptcy court’s protection.
While Verijet focused on ad hoc charters and jet cards, Jet It sold fractional shares, initially in a fleet of Honda Aircraft Company’s very light jets.
It later added larger Gulfstream G150 airplanes.
It offered a day-based program.
