Moisture from the Pacific Ocean will move into Northern California this weekend, bringing periods of rain that are expected to intensify into heavy rainfall on Sunday. As rainfall rates increase later Sunday into Monday morning, parts of Northern California may face excessive rainfall, raising the risk for numerous flash flooding events.
