The rich cause more CO2 emissions and the poor cause less than either group estimates. This is the conclusion reached by the authors of the study “Underestimation of personal Carbon Footprint Inequality in four diverse countries.” The study was conducted in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Copenhagen Business School, and the University of Basel.
