The author of a new study calls for “attention literacy” from childhood to help people focus and not give in to the constant pressures of social media. Our cell phones are an endless source of distractions and we interact with them every four to six minutes. This is often due to both habit and notifications, disrupting the flow of professional activity while we try to be productive.
