A dynamic and far-reaching storm system is set to impact much of the United States this weekend into early Monday, bringing flash flooding risk in the South and heavy mountain snowfall in the West.
Severe Storms Target the Gulf Coast
A strengthening area of low pressure over the Southern Plains will track eastward, reaching the Southeast and eventually moving offshore of the Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning.
As it advances across the Gulf Coast, conditions will become favorable for widespread showers and severe thunderstorms.
