Theft of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, or SNAP funds, is on the rise in Delaware.
So much so that it prompted the Department of Health and Social Services to renew its call for clients to protect their money.
“We are seeing more Delawareans report stolen benefits,” Secretary Christen Linke Young said in a press release June 10. “And taking a few simple steps now can help reduce the risk of fraud.”
