Steelcase targets net-zero future by 2050 | News World

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Steelcase has released a net-zero transition plan, announcing its commitment to reducing its carbon emissions more than 90% through its products, operations and transportation, by 2050.

The plan, “Power of Possibility: A Net-Zero Future Needs Us All,” outlines how the company plans to transform its entire business. Steelcase also is using this moment as a call to action to accelerate its impact by engaging employees, dealers, suppliers, customers and peers to achieve a net-zero future.

This commitment builds on the organization’s science-based targets set in 2019 to cut emissions in half in its own operations by 2030.
