The Central and Eastern US will see a quick round of mixed precipitation move through the region to start the week before temperatures see a highly anticipated increase. Strong thunderstorms are possible Tuesday across the Central Plains, while locally heavy rainfall is possible across the Ohio Valley.

A band of mixed precipitation moves east across the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys. A lifting frontal boundary will bring mixed precipitation from the Central to the Eastern US today and tomorrow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Indiana to Pennsylvania. These areas could see a few inches of snow accumulation mixed with some sleet.
