Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried’s twisty thriller “The Housemaid,” will be available to stream soon.
Based on Freida McFadden’s popular novel and directed by Paul Feig, the film stars Sweeney as Millie, who goes to work as a live-in housemaid for wealthy couple, Nina and Andrew Winchester (Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar), only for it to pull her “into a sexy, seductive game of secrets and power—with shocking twists that keep you guessing to the end,” according to the movie synopsis.
USA TODAY movie critic Brian Truitt gave the film ★★★ out of four, writing the psychological thriller “is steamy, twisty, demented and not exactly subtle in its aim to entertain film fans and BookTok alike.”
