Pot Pie Magic: The Perfect Chicken and Bacon Recipe for Any Occasion

If you’re looking to impress guests or enjoy a cozy night in, nothing beats a delicious chicken and bacon pot pie. This recipe combines tender chicken, crispy bacon, and a creamy filling, all encased in a flaky pastry crust. It’s comfort food at its finest!

Ingredients:

• • 1 pound of chicken breast, diced

• • 6 slices of bacon, chopped

• • 1 cup of frozen peas and carrots

• • 1 medium onion, diced

• • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

• • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour

• • 2 cups of chicken broth

• • 1 cup of heavy cream

• • 1 teaspoon of thyme

• • Salt and pepper, to taste

• • 2 sheets of refrigerated pie crust

• • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until translucent. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
