If January has felt more like late spring — or even summer — where you live, you’re not alone. Across parts of the southern and southeastern United States, winter has taken an unexpected turn, with temperatures climbing well above what we’d normally expect this time of year. In some spots, highs are flirting with record territory, and a few southern cities could even see temperatures pushing into the 90s.
