A powerful atmospheric river will direct more moisture to the Pacific Northwest this week as storm systems dump moderate to heavy rain and mountain snow in the region. Rain will ramp up by Wednesday with the arrival of another storm whose impacts will be felt through at least Thursday. Additional flooding is expected from Washington southward to northern California.
