Jerry Forms and Races Toward the Leeward Islands
Tropical Storm Jerry quickly spun up over the tropical Atlantic, earning its name as the tenth storm of the season. Early Tuesday, Jerry’s winds reached 45 mph, with the strongest gusts found east of its center. The storm is currently moving quickly westward at around 24 mph, guided by a strong subtropical ridge.
