Over 27 million people face moderate HeatRisk, level two out of four, on Monday as the first full week of October starts off unseasonably warm for most of the country. Summer-like temperatures will spread from the Missouri Valley through the Midwest, Ohio Valley, and Northeast regions. High temperatures will be between 10 and nearly 25 degrees warmer than average from Missouri to Maine.
Today and Monday will be partly to mostly sunny and very warm with a southwesterly breeze.
Tonight and Monday night will be moonlit and mild.
