NORFOLK, Va. — Across the nation, thousands of active-duty service members are working without pay, as the government shutdown drags into Day 6 on Monday.
While visiting Naval Station Norfolk on Sunday, President Trump told sailors “not to worry” about getting their money.
“I want you to know that despite the current Democrat-induced shutdown, we will get our service members every last penny,” said President Trump. “It’s all coming, it’s coming.”
