A Wednesday weather whiplash is coming for the upper Midwest, Great Lakes, and Ohio Valley. An abrupt pattern change will usher in much colder air. After highs in the Chicago area reached the 50s on Tuesday, today will be significantly colder with temperatures falling in the Wind City into the lower to middle 20s.
