President Donald Trump claims the United States is in an golden age of prosperity. He states his tariffs, DOGE and his efficiency cuts and sweeping federal employee firings mean our nation is awash in cash.
The problem is no one can find the money. The $1 trillion that Elon Musk claims DOGE saved us appears to be far less and is maybe just a made up number. Trump has refused to spend billions of dollars that Congress had appropriated. Where is the money?
There has to be huge savings from all of the government employees fired and those who resigned. Unfortunately, no one seems to know how many people have actually left the federal government. Again where is the money from all of these saved wages?
