To ensure success, scientists from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) have launched the pioneering SOLIS100 study, an experiment aimed at understanding how extreme conditions affect human health, performance, and behavior.
SOLIS100 is an isolation and confinement project that simulates the risks of interplanetary missions. Its goal is to evaluate how social deprivation and prolonged confinement impact the psychological and physical resilience of participants.
