One person is dead after jumping from a fire in New Haven, according to officials.
The fire happened at an apartment building on Fountain Street on Monday evening. When crews got to the scene, they found multiple people hanging out of the windows of the apartment building, officials said.
Firefighters were able to quell the blaze quickly, but officials said one person, a female, jumped from an unknown floor and landed in the back parking lot of the building….
