Delaware is under a freeze warning starting at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, April 8 as cold air and clear skies move into Delaware.
The warning will last until 9 a.m. April 8, according to the National Weather Service. First State residents should expect sub-freezing temperatures with lows between 25 and 30 degrees. A freeze warning is issued when significant, widespread freezing temperatures are expected.
Delaware will see frost and freeze conditions which could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
