The Dutch cruise ship was off the coast of Cape Verde in the Atlantic Ocean.
The WHO said epidemiologists will conduct a review to assess the condition of the 147 people on board the cruise ship and decide on their repatriation, with medical care in the Canary Islands, the Spanish government said in a statement.
