Ithaca Voice founder Jeff Stein was part of a team of Washington Post journalists awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service on May 4.
Naturally, it seemed like a good opportunity to catch up with him. Below is is a Q&A with Stein, but first, some background on our small but mighty newsroom’s founder and his recent Pulitzer win.
The Pulitzer Board issued the prize to The Post for “piercing the veil of secrecy around the Trump administration’s chaotic overhaul of federal agencies and chronicling in rich detail the human impacts of the cuts and the consequences for the country.”
